The idea was to create a separate guest house that was also to be used as a sculptor/artist’s studio. The catch was it had to be built on a steep piece of property overlooking George Lake. The architect, Jeffery S. Poss then positioned this “Polygon Studio” on the highest point on the property with access to the road.
The result is a wonderful guest home with soaring ceilings and doors that open wide to capture the view of the lake. There are steps down to the lake and views from many rooms. With the use of light color wood and white walls, the house maintains a theme that is modern and open.
