This little river house house really catches the eye! “Little Otterling”, as it’s called, was once part of the Duke of Bedford estate. It is surrounded by wooded area and is in the Tamar Valley, Cornwall, UK. The Tamar Valley is a very special area of Cornwall where the friendly little villages and stunning natural beauty combines to create a peaceful old world charm unique to this region.
The little cottage itself is surrounded by meadows and sheltered by the valley.
The river Tamar rolls alongside, and as the name of the cottage implies, you might actually catch a glimpse of an otter or two.
With all this country atmosphere you might think that this house would be rather rustic inside. Quite the contrary. The interior is sleek and modern, but not overly so. I think it goes well with he stone cottage.
Of course the house is designed to pamper its guests. So there is a dramatic spa-like bathroom complete with heated towel rails, waterfall shower heads, and a deep soaking tub. The perfect place to relax.
I think a visit here would be lovely. How about you?
