This couple quit their jobs, built a tiny house, and changed their lives completely! After realizing they didn’t want to spend the rest of their lives in careers they didn’t love, Guillaume Dutilh and Jenna Speared made a decision to do something about it.
After becoming interested in the tiny-house concept, Dutilh had the idea of traveling throughout North America while creating a travel blog about their adventures. And doing it via a Tiny House was fresh territory.
After selling almost all their possessions and armed with a little bit of savings the couple set out to build their own tiny-house. “Besides the fact that they are adorable,” the couple say of tiny houses, they allow homeowners to reduce their carbon footprint and afford a higher quality of life without breaking the bank.
After being on the road for 5 months, the couple and their dog have been through 25 states and logged over 10,000 miles. They document their experience on their blog, Tiny House Giant Journey and now they earn their living with a blog about their adventure and are no longer slaves to the 9-5!
