While some may think that the Tiny House Movement arose in the US, in actuality many people worldwide have been living small for years. Of all the tiny houses around the world, Japan likely has the most due to its astronomical real estate prices.
The minimalist tiny house design above is the work Unemori Architects, located in Tokyo. However, what it may lack in size, it makes up for in creative design.
The site measures less than 370 sq. ft. and while this may seem a tad too small to many, the result to those already living in tiny houses seems quite generous.
Is with most tiny houses, the design is rife with multi-function items, a lot of light and the desire to bring the outdoors inside.
