Tiny House Communities are sprouting up all over the place these days. Personally, I find it interesting that some of these communities are pretty spendy ($300k and up…) for a tiny house and a small piece of property to put it on. Granted some of the locations are beautiful, but to me having one tiny house cookie-cuttered up against 30 more and priced that highly defeats the whole intent of the tiny house goal. Namely, getting out from under those mortgages and achieving financial freedom by going small in a big way

I much prefer the idea of putting a tiny home on a larger piece of land, but it has been proving very difficult for many tiny-homers to find people who “get it” and will allow them to rent a bit here or there.

Please let me know if you here of any, and especially if you know of someone who is willing to rent out a tiny piece of their land for tiny homesteaders! Eventually we the tiny idea will spread and more and more communities will flourish.
